From 7 January, the University Library will revert to the regular opening hours and all reading rooms and services will be available again. However, from 2 to 6 January, the Juridicum reading room will re-open for reduced opening times. For the detailed opening hours visit the University Library website.
You can still order media through the Passau Search Portal until Thursday, 19 December. You will be able to search the catalogue and use external access to access e-media and self-service functions such as account viewing, renewals and reservations without restriction when the library is closed for the holidays.
Over the Christmas and New Year period, the University Library is extending the loan period for certain media for students and non-university members: From Thursday, 5 December, you can borrow items from reading room collection up to and including Friday, 10 January.
However, please note that you still have to return media borrowed from the closed stacks or via interlibrary loan on time or renew them in your library account.
