To ensure that as many people as possible can find a place to work even when the reading rooms are busy, desk reservation discs are available in the entrance areas of the reading rooms. This allows a seat to be reserved for up to 60 minutes. If you leave your desk without leaving a desk reservation disc or if the time indicated on your disc is more than 60 minutes in the past, the desk is free for others to use.
