Under the title ‘Wonder, Whimsy and Wild’, the artist Hafsa Idrees is once again showing a selection of her colourful and expressive oil paintings in the foyer of the Central Library. Her unique style ranges between modern impressionism, semi-abstraction and occasional post-impressionist and expressionist influences. Her paintings, some of which she paints with her fingers, are a luminous homage to imagination, colour, humour, creativity, fantasy and dreams.
The exhibition comprises two collections: The first will be on display from 17 March to 20 April, the second from 20 April to 22 May during the opening hours of the Central Library.
